- 2014 Butler High School Softball Team
On July 15, 2014 Mayor Alviene and the Butler Borough Council applauded the 2014 Butler High School Softball Team on their amazing season.

Winners of the 2008 Curbside Appeal Contest. This years contest features homes in the Lake Edenwold section of Butler.
- Butler Library Junior Gardeners
Butler Library Junior Gardeners are a group of area children who plant and care for a vast variety of plants outside our Library. The instructors are Anita Murski and Lee Brower who received their knowledge as master gardeners from Rutgers. Children are also given seeds to take home and plant. Thank you Anita and Lee for your love of plants and sharing it with our children

- Butler High School Soccer Team Clean Up September 6, 2008
Butler High School Soccer Team conducted a clean up on September 6, 2008. Main focus of the clean up was Manning Ave Cemetary and the Route 23 over pass. Clean up was sponsored by Butler Clean Communities
- Richard Butler Student Council
The Richard Butler School's Student Council conducted a mini clean up along Main Street on May 15, 2009. Thank you Ms. Worman, the students and her assistances. Also thank you Butler Bagel for putting up with all of us after the clean up and thank you for the great food
- New Landscaping at Borough Hall
The Borough Administrator along with the Mayor and Council decided the Borough Hall needed a face lift. After a couple of days of excavating new trees, shrubs, flowers and low lighting was installed. It has certainly made a difference as the photos will show.
- Illusion Maker - Sponsored by Clean Communities March 2010
Once again we were fortunate to have the Illusiion Maker appear at Aaron Decker and St. Anthony School in March which was sponsored by Clean Communities
- 2011 Memorial Day Parade
In the continuing spirit of patriotism the attached pictures were taken during the annual Tri-Boro Memorial Parade at various locations in the participating boroughs.
- Pole Barn
A new Pole Barn has been constructed on Whitteck Street behind Borough Hall. The Pole Barn will be used to house DPW trucks and equipment - Barn has not been completed but will be soon. Check back for further updates

Once again the Grand Fallons appeared in February at Aaron Decker and St. Anthony School with a great educational show regarding recycling and keeping your community clean
- Butler Police Accreditation Ceremony
On February 21, 2012 a Ceremony was held at the Borough Council Regular Meeting where the Mayor was presented with two prestigious certifications that were awarded to the Borough of Butler Police Department. These accreditations are highly sought after as the application process is rigorous requiring a strict attention to detail, while implementing certain standards that will be carried out throughout every phase of the department.
- Recycling/Education Programs at Aaron Decker and St. Anthony School
The Grand Falloons/Stephen Ringold performed the Nature of Performance Professor W's Earth Science Circus a recycling and litter abatement assembly. This show took place December 2007, they will be back in 2009 so keep checking the website photo journal for updates
- Butler Park has a new bridge
Our new bridge connecting the park to the police department has arrived
- Butler Library Petting Zoo
Butler Library sponsored a Petting Zoo on July 15, 2009 a fun time as had by all. Go to photo journal to check out the photos and be sure to check with the library for upcoming events

The Borough of Butler Clean Communities Program sponsored a clean up at Butler Park and Borough Hall where the Butler High School Soccer, Gymnastic and football team showed enthusiastic team work and did an outstand job at both locations certainly earning the mini grant awarded through the Clean Communities Program - Thanks to all of you
